Kavos Corfu

Kavos is the place for those wanting a lively holiday with plenty of night life. The former fishing village has developed into one of Corfu's most lively resorts. One of the main attractions in Kavos is the long sandy beach which stretches for just over 2 miles, as well as plenty of space to stretch out and soak up the Corfu sun, it is also a great place for water sports enthusiasts with windsurfing, waterskiing, paracending and also pedalos and canoes for hire. A variety of boat trips are also available including trips to the lovely nearby island of Paxos.

The front of the resort is lined with restaurants and bars, all with excellent sea views. The food is simple but good value for money, with a good variety of sea food on offer.

Kavos has become one of Corfu's most popular resorts so early booking of holiday accommodation is recommended. The night life is excellent with plenty of bars an disco's to choose from.

While here don't forget to to visit the derelict monastery at Corfu's tip, this area is unspoiled and a stroll through the quiet olive groves is great for clearing the head after a lively Corfu night out.
