Kassiopi Corfu

Travel 90 minutes from the airport, down to the north eastern tip of the island of Corfu and you will find the charming fishing port of Kassiopi. With its pretty harbour and small coves this is Corfu at its best, the resort is backed by Mount Pandokrators slopes which are covered with flowers in spring. The bustling harbour area is lined with excellent restaurants and it goes without saying that fish is a speciality, with the days catch going straight from the local Greek fishing boats to the restaurant kitchens.
Night life is relaxed but fairly lively, there are plenty of bars and tavernas to choose from, there are some particularly good ones down by the harbour, a great place to sit with a cool drink watching the fishing boats come in.

The beaches around Kassiopi are hidden away in the small secluded coves which are dotted around the beautiful headland, the pebbly beaches are clean and the water is crystal clear, warm and inviting. The longer sandy beaches of Kalamionas, Imerolia and Avlaki, are within walking distance of Kassiopi, and the wonderful beach at Kalamionas has been awarded the much sort after EU blue flag. An ideal way to explore the coastline and hidden coves is to hire a boat for the day from Kassiopi harbour, there are plenty available at very reasonable rates.

If you feel a bit more adventurous waterskiing and paracending / parasailing are available locally as well as a diving centre which caters for the beginner as well as more advanced divers.

Kassiopi Accommodation

There is a good selection of apartments on small complexes available, with full facilities and swimming pools. The hotels and pensions in Kassiopi tend to be small and family run, some are located in the heart of the resort or down by the harbour waterfront with rooms that have excellent views across the bay.
